      I'm taking over my body, back in control, no more shotty
      I bet a lot of me was lost, 't's uncrossed and 'i's undotted
      I fought it a lot and it seems a lot like flesh is all I got
      Not anymore, flesh out the door, swat

      Snarl snarl.

              As far as a good album to run to that I have been digging

              One song that is on some of my mixes that has been amusing me lately and seems to describe my running lately is;

              Mr. Brownstone by Guns N' Roses

              I used ta do a little but a little wouldn't do
              So the little got more and more
              I just keep tryin' ta get a little better
              Said a little better than before

              We are the music makers,

                  And we are the dreamers of dreams,

              Wandering by lone sea-breakers,

                  And sitting by desolate streams;

              World-losers and world-forsakers,

                  On whom the pale moon gleams:

              Yet we are the movers and shakers

                  Of the world for ever, it seems.

              Not dead. Yet.

                        I love running to

                        Bombs Over Baghdad - Outkast

                        Take it to the House- Trick Daddy

                        mmmbop - Hanson

                        I can't even think of songs a  much as artists I listen to everything from punk to hip-hop to pop. I like anything fast paced for the run, then something Alison Krause- ish for the cool down

                          you really can't go wrong with anything Calvin Harris related.

                          My leg won't stop mooing.

                              I'm an old guy so I like old guy music.

                              ELO - Mr. Blue Sky - This one is great to run to.

                              Flaming Lips - Turn it On - Only three chords.

                              Frank Zappa - Titties and Beer

                              "It doesn’t matter how often you do it or how much you accomplish, in general, not running is a lot easier than running." - Meb Keflezighi

                              Proboscis Colossus

                                One song that is on some of my mixes that has been amusing me lately and seems to describe my running lately is;

                                Mr. Brownstone by Guns N' Roses

                                I used ta do a little but a little wouldn't do
                                So the little got more and more
                                I just keep tryin' ta get a little better
                                Said a little better than before

                                I'm sure you know, he's not talking about about "more and more" of a good thing like running, right? Wink  But yeah, great song.

                                The quintessential running song for me is "The Distance" by Cake.  Runner-up is that song by Rage Against The Machine.  And the song from that genre I refer to as "pop-punk" (Paramore, Blink 182, etc.).

                                Hey, anyone ever listened to Marine Corps marching cadences while running?  I got the idea as I was watching Full Metal Jacket on the treadmill (which is interesting in itself).  It's great,  especially if you're in a secluded area where you can chant along without people looking at you funny!

                                "God guides us on our journey, but careful with those feet." - David Lee Roth, of all people
