Will bungee jumping help my running? (Read 2394 times)

    just kidding.

2 days till goal race, buzzing around in tweak-mode... nothing to do at work!

Being a brat and making a salute to some of the stupid threads that have come up over the ages.

I reckon that if 100 people read this post, takingĀ 6 secondsĀ to read it before hitting 'back' on their browser (600 seconds total count), of which at least 10 people will respond to some comment on this thread at 30 seconds per response (900 seconds total now) - I will have wasted a total of 15minutes of human lifetime from making this thread.

Of course the formula might be wrong... maybe it should be:

100*(6n+(30*0.1n)) = total minutes of human lifetime wasted.

Where n = the total number of people who respond to this post, and 10% of people decide to comment (recognizing that this is a very ambitious assumption.

       hey - that's my job

      Beware, batbear...

But there should be some sort of quotient for reduced effectiveness, not just time wasting.  Some of us are "multi-tasking" (i.e. performing our jobs at 40% maximum efficiency, not ignoring our job altogether).

2014 Goal -- Run 5X per week, pain-free (relatively) by end of summer.

This thread needs photo of bungee jumping.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

okay, hopefully not entirely wasted time.

Wishing you the best in your race.
