    I’ve been pretty much base training for a month or so (piriformis) & now I’m signing up for the annual snowflake 4 mile in Long Beach, LI; does anyone have such a plan or idea of a good plan, not to taxing with only 4 weeks to go?” Thanks…scott

      I suffer from Piriformis too, and have found some exercises at the gym that help. Hip abduction/adduction, quad extensions and hamstring curls, all seem to help with the piriformis. As far as training for your race, I'd suggest stretching well 3-4 times a day (especially before a run) and some pace work on a track. Good Luck!
