Ooh, very nice...so does it say whether it's better to run slowly for long distances or fast for short? Just wondering if I need to adjust my training. Tongue

Ha, and it was completely coincidental...I'm out-of-state and just happened to be on my MIL's laptop at the right time. Big grin

I think a slow shuffle with arms raised while making moaning sounds (to evaluate your exertion level, of course, kind of like the "talk test") would be best.

WW Z is a decent book. Supposed to be making it into a movie.

MTA: To tie all this back into running, a couple years ago, the Southern Conference held their XC Championships at Moccasin Bend Mental Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. (My daugher runs for a Socon school)
While researching the area, I found this blog:

I guess its good to have a plan, just in case.

PS: I wanted to have T shirts made that said "I ran like crazy at Moccasin Bend" , but my wife and daughter put the stops to that.
I need more cowbell.

This thread really makes me hope that I can someday be a zombie/undead. I'll bet I'm a better/faster runner, then. Evil grin

the funny thing is that I misread this title and wondered why a post-mortem analysis of your marathon training was in the 'off the beaten path' thread.

I don't know if this is good or bad, but if you're a zombie, you brain-load instead of carbo-load.

What are you doing?

And no worries about Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease...I mean, who cares. That's the best thing about being undead--one doesn't have to worry about contracting any horrific diseases. Big grin
