Ran the Road to Hope 10km race today in Hamilton

It was my 3rd 10km race.

Finishing time : 47:43

I placed 8th overall of a field of 231

2nd place age group finish of a field of 26

And a PB in winds gusting over 40 mph along lake Ontario

I'm just really proud!

2010 goals: PR at distances from 3k-HM 3k: 02/02/10 - 12:00 - road 5k :03/13/10 - 20:32 - road 10mile: 04/02/10 - 1:15:49 "The only thing I hate more than running is not running"

Excellent - esp in face of really high winds! Congratulations.

I was gonna run a 10K this morning, but then I slept in. So you're way ahead of me Smile

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

great job Kimmi !! go ahead, be proud, strut alittle, you deserve it. going against those winds makes it even more impressive.

Thanks everyone for the support! I feel great taking more than 2 minutes off my former PB of 50:17
