| Yeah, Aloha Air can bite it. I just had to change our tickets for Maui (in 4 weeks!) and when I called our main airline (name withheld) to change them, the woman didnt understand what was going on. apparently they had no idea the damn plane wouldnt be available to fly in!! |

| thanks for the input... i am now down to either AMEX blue cashback, blue sky or AMEX starwood preferred guest programs as a main credit card. I pretty much pay my balance every month so not too worried about rates. The AMEX starwood hotel reward is pretty enticing, they don't require as many points although can be more expensive than plane tickets. Ackh, having a choice is tough. I remember the days where i'd take whatever card that was willing to give me one. |

Yup. I was a big man on campus when I got my Citibank Visa by photocopying my UMASS student ID and sending it in with the application. No job? No problem! Of course I made the minimum $10 monthly payment, at least until I got that first year-end summary that showed how much finance charge I had accrued.
I'm pretty sure the rate was over 21%, you could refinance through your friendly local loan shark and come out with a lower rate. |

| I use the chase freedom card, 3% cash on top 3 spending categories, 1% cash on everything else, if you wait until you have $200 to cash out you'll get $250, plus there was a $50 sign up bonus. We pay in full every month so rate wasn't too important, it's 9% or something like that. |

Our card is a mile per $, and there are specials that would earn more miles per $. and so far we have enough for three persons to go anywhere. |

I got the Chase Rewards VISA. It pays out 5% for groceries, gas and drugs, 1% for everything else. Don't care what the interest rate is because I pay in full. It has an annual limit and that's why I got another card that pays 1% on everything as a backup. |
