Of course Vandy knew about them. They lent MSU their gym for practice during the OVC tournament. They didn't under-estimate them at all. They just needed one more stop and they didn't get it. No one thought Murray State would be easy. They are a good team. Vandy lost. So did Florida. It happens.

Was a bad matchup. Vandy is slow. Murray State is fast. Runners should be able to get that.
