Interval defaulting to 'rest' (Read 283 times)

When uploading GPS data file, the interval type is defaulting to 'rest'.   As you know the other types are 'recovery' and 'interval'.

Would rather the default setting be 'interval' or better still would prefer to create our own labels.

    Cheers,

    Steve.

I regularly upload from a Garmin Forerunner 610.  I'm not having your problem.  All intervals default to "Interval".

Personally, I'd prefer the selections ("Warm-up", "Interval", "Rest", "Recovery", "Float" and "Cool-down").  Or user configurable labels.  Just seems odd to label the Warm-up 3miles "recovery".

2021 Goals: 50mpw 'cause there's nothing else to do

I'm updating from a Garmin 910XT data file.

          how did u set "interval"?

          eric :)

The interval types come from the data in the gps file.  I will need to look at your data to see why rest is the default.

When uploading data from file,  the interval type is defaulting to 'rest', while uploading GPS data file, the type is "interval", why?
