I anticipate the re-arrival of this thread each year probably as much as I used to tweak waiting on Santa.
As for "3 socks", I think that was what Kevin Costner called the wolf in Dances with Wolves. Clearly he was just projecting his own personality onto the wolf. I think his Sioux name (the actor, not the character he played) should have been "cold dick wrapped in swaddling clothes."
