FR 10 Low Battery Warning

Does anyone know about how long the FR10 will last after the low battery warning comes on? I was afraid that I would lose the run data when the alert came on, so I shut it down at the next split, .25 mile. I usually keep it charged, but what looked like 50% charged, ran out in 45 minutes.

And,if it does run down too far, will all settings, history be deleted?

I do not know the answer to your queston of how long it will run after the alert. However, I think you can rest assured that nothing will be lost -- on every Forerunner model I've encountered, when it konks out due to no more battery charge, the data just stops at that point in time and nothing is lost.

Haven't run the battery down yet during a run, but did find out that the manual pause will time itself out after about 5 minutes, but the data is saved automatically. Then have to start a new session to finish the run.
