23 miles..longest ever! (Read 516 times)

    I ran 23 miles today with my group! I feel great too.  I do the galloway program and seriously just love the run/walk.  I dont think I'd ever get mileage like that without this group.  We did have to slow down big time at mile 19 because one of the guys got real sick. I felt pretty bad, but we could not just leave him.  I don't even care about the time....I am just happy I was able to cover that many miles!

      That's one amazing training run.  20 is a major challenge...but 23.  That give you a lot of confidence.  Race day won't be any stretch for you, especially after a taper.
