For men at least, it's pretty common (or at least not unheard of) to pee while you are running in ultramarathons. I hate to contradict dg12, but it's impossible to run for 20+ hours without peeing unless you are seriously dehydrated and aren't eating/drinking anything.
Of course, the guys don't wet themselves, they whip themselves out and just pee off to the side rather than stopping (ain't outdoor plumbing grand?)
The next time you are running on a trail and it looks like somebody created a big S type line with their water bottle, you'll know that it isn't actually water.
MTA: While I could certainly see myself doing something like that, I have not yet been in a situation that warranted it. |
