when i need to get MS-word to normal clean HTML i use a combination of hand-work and primitive search & replace, with some macros.

the volume of processing is about to grow exponentially, thereby making this system untenable.

anybody got a toolset to recommend?

HTML Tidy does a nice job fixing word format docs.

I've heard good things about Alberto Salazar's ability to coach the html from Word.

I disagree. His inappropriate use of bleeding edge technology introduces bugs and results in inconsistent results.
