Is anyone using the Virtual Pacer on the FR10?
Good, bad, indifferent?

I have used the virtual pacer on my 610(I assume they are the same in how the VP works) and it does a good job of alerting you if you stray from your target pace. Now if you listen, that is another matter! I used mine for a race and I blew past my VP for the first half and then watched helplessly as my lead dwindled and beeped at me to let me know I was behind yet powerless to do anything about it(I blew up, as they say). So it can be useful to pace you but you have to listen to it, be around the pace you want(slightly behind or ahead) not crazy beat the stupid thing!

I bloody hate that thing, but it's a good tool. Problem is, you have to be either really close or RIGHT ON PACE from the very beginning, otherwise the darn thing keeps beeping at ya. Since I always want to prevent any beeping, I do my best to try and beat the little stick figure guy every time.
I can't hear mine beep at all.......must he he ring in my ears that prevents me from hewing the beep. My parents were right, I shouldn't have had my music turned up so loud as a kid.
