You wash your hands with 1/2 gallon of water every time you drink a glass of water?  You really wash your 'glass' every day?  No wonder we have water supply issues if everyone is wasting this much drinking water.

Seems a lil' excessive if you axe me, all that hand washing, could be OCD. I use a 32 oz. Nalgene, or one of those fancy Kleen canteens, the double walled one that keeps my H2o or ETOH cold for a long time. Anywho, the nalgene i rarely wash, maybe once a month or so, and i use it everyday. I typically drink around a gallon of water a day. Funny thing about the nalgene is, the lid is black, the bottle is red. Only time i wash it is when the threads on the bottle start showing some funky shit, lip balm or what have you starts to turn black. Then it's time for a wash, other than that, i just keep re-fillin' it.
