    Imminent Catastrophe

Hey I should try that in an ultra.

"Able to function despite imminent catastrophe"

"To obtain the air that angels breathe you must come to Tahoe"--Mark Twain

"The most common question from potential entrants is 'I do not know if I can do this' to which I usually answer, 'that's the whole point'.--Paul Charteris, Tarawera Ultramarathon RD.

Good thinking, Perfesser. Ultrarunners just don't convey the appropriate level of goofiness with multiple handhelds, hydration packs, calf sleeves, arm panties, Badwater style sun hats, bandana wrapped necks, toe socks, and barely-there shoes because they need to "feel" 62 miles of rocks, even if it adds 5 hours to their time.

I want to do it because I want to do it.  -Amelia Earhart

I just ordered one of those aerodynamic helmets for Tahoe.

It might shave 0.23 seconds off your time; you don't know until you try it.

I just ordered one of those aerodynamic helmets for Tahoe.

It seems like it's on backwards. Or the wrong part the body...
