Anyone had this? (Read 254 times)

    Ran yesterday...felt great at first then started hurting.  Just gutted it out.

     

    Iced, rested etc.  Gonna stretch and massage today and hopefully it will work itself out.

    Don't carry 10,000 songs in your hand...protect them...

    The "stiff" one works best for me...

     



      One thing I did not mention - along with my new shoes I got a new pair of super feet to replace my old ones.

       

      I think those might be the culprit.  Just ran 11 miles in my old shoes with my old inserts and had no knee pain.  They actually felt pretty strong and it was a great run.

       

      Gonna try the old inserts in my new shoes next to see what happens.

        In case anyone is interested - I have been consistently rolling out my knots in my quads, IT bands and around my knees with a muscle roller stick, strengthening with leg extensions, and doing a lot more stretching with yoga, and my knees are not hurting anymore...a little ice helped too
