Anybody know much about this? Mark Sisson developed it. My wife is just getting into. I hope it works for her, but I want her to stick with it. If anyone has past or present experiences with it please share. Thanks!
So bittersweet,This tragedyWon't ask for absolution; This melody,Inside of me,Still searches for solution.A twist of faith,A change of heart Cures my infatuation.A broken heart, Provides the sparkFor my determination.
Feeling the growl again
Primal, huh? If it involves shooting things and eating them I'm all for it.
I just dropped $250 on food for 3 for a long backpacking hunting trip. My wife told me I should have saved the money, it would have just been more motivation to be successful.

They know how to think primal.
This stuff is very big in the crossfit "functional fitness" world. I know a number of people who have had real success with it, but I doubt any diet that tell you to ignore your doctor and encourages you to literally eat balls of animal fat.
By the way, Mark Sissson is a former competitive marathoner who once qualified for the Olympic trials. He now thinks "chronic cardio" is horrible.
Have you qualified for Boston? I want to interview you!

I haven't tried it, but some friends are. I'm very wary of it... they've been doing it about a year now and have become hyper-sensitive to any breads, etc. I don't know if the allergy development is typical, but one of my friends actually becomes ill if he eats any bread (and even potatoes) now.
Personally, I like waffles and plan to continue eating them.
Best of luck to your wife. I hope it works well for her :-)
I like my sex fully cooked.
Yeah, I don't quite get this. DW was saying something to that effect. I don't know quite what is on his mind???? I am sure I will hear more about it soon.

I kind of agree with you. .....being wary of it that is. I am not jumping ship from eating grains anytime soon. I do try to moderate what I eat of them though. My wife tends to swing from one excess to the other. But thanks for the well wishes! I just want her to find something that works for her and gives her the results she wants.
My guess is no. She didn't purchase it from that section of the bookstore.
Well, after the pickled egg fiasco, you're better off not getting ideas from me anyways...

I'd read a chunk of the website last year.

Well basically 3 wks in and my wife is doing very well with this. She says it's easy for her to stick to. Although she did realize 2 wks in she wasn't supposed to eat peanuts and she had been eating them quite frequently. Nuts! Anyway, she has lost 5 lbs. Great for her! She's not big at all. She just carries weight in some unwanted regions. Just like everyone else I guess. I have rarely met a woman who isn't either on a diet or about to go on a diet of some kind.
