100 mile month - no injuries! (Read 573 times)

Beware, batbear...

I logged 141 miles in April, but many of those were walking miles and I ended up injured after that one.

August has been tough - starting school again, adjusting schedules, etc.  This is usually about the time I give up my summer exercise regimen, but having a race to train for plus the RA community has been vital in keeping me moving!

Thanks to all of you who've shared your sage advice, guidance, and humor along the way!

2014 Goal -- Run 5X per week, pain-free (relatively) by end of summer.

Congrats .... Good milestone especially with no injuries!

"It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it Great!

yea maybe 140 in April abit much, but we all learn as we go.  good job sticking with it & most importantly injury free!  Keep it going through the winter!!

        Consistently Slow

          Congrats.

Run until the trail runs out.

           SCHEDULE 2016--

The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff
