It has been over a year since I set up my first Garmin, one of the straps actually broke so I had to get a new one.  As I was setting it up, it kept saying I need to acquire GPS signal for the time, well I was sitting in my office and by the time I got outside it chose the wrong time and date, actually it picked my son's birthday (April 13, 2012 / Friday).  My crazy question is how do I change the time and date, I have it on US- Central (I'm pretty sure Evansville, IN is Central Standard Time) which is what my old one is still one. Everything on my new one is the same as my old one except the time that it chose. Can someone help me out here, should I just go stand outside until it changes or what?

Wish I had my 410 with me to look at the menus, but I would try turning the watch off, then go back outside and turn it on and hit Training on the bezel and let it acquire the satelite signals again and see if it updates time/date automatically.

Big grin Nevermind, I decided to try it by going to training so the GPS would start searching for satellite signal and then it immediately went to my timezone and date so it's all good Smile
