I think it would be useful to be able to control the vertical scale on the course elevation graphs (e.g., the kind of controls you find in Excel graphs like min, max, major unit, ...).

With this enhancement, the elevation graphs would provide a simple means to compare courses (i.e., by visually comparing their elevation graphs drawn to the same scale).

This occurred to me when I mapped out a 10K course for an upcoming race. The registration form describes the course as "mostly flat". A look at the elevation profile suggests that it is quite hilly, until you realize that the major divisions are in 20 ft increments...
