Consistently Slow
Run until the trail runs out.
SCHEDULE 2016--
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

I was chased by a wild turkey last week! The first time I had ever seen one and it was chasing me! I stumbled upon it when it's turklets (or whatever little turkeys are called) were crossing the trail in the park where I run. It must not have liked me getting that close to them.
Getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to
remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.

Just Be
He's about 1 and still thinks he's a puppy and chases us around the house and grabs our ankles.
My cat does that. He has claws and doesn't seem to know how to keep them in, so if I don't scare him before he reaches my ankles then he usually will end up breaking my skin. We tried those glue on claw covers but he seems to always shed his outer nail surface as soon as we glue them on!
Awesome
Two weeks ago a VERY large dog, doberman or something of that ilk, ran full speed down a driveway at me barking his head off. I was running in the street next to the sidewalk thinking I was about to be mauled. It stopped short right at the edge of the driveway - invisible fence. I didn't see but I bet there was a very sadistic owner ROTFL inside his living room. Was glad I had already pooped before my run.
TRIing to beat the heat!
