Locosys Genie GT-31 for running? (Read 19 times)

Searching the internet I came across this device Locosys Genie GT-31. It's a handheld GPS tracker meant for general outdoor sports.

In the accuracy comparisons it scores quite high and the price (US$141) makes it attractive.

I is supposed to be useable for runners too and it even has a strap/ pouch that you can use on your arm (I hate that) or wrist.

It seems to be able to record meaningful data but in a way most of us runners aren't used too. I do see it's usefulness for trail and ultra running though.

Has anybody tried this or a similar device?
How is it compared to a Magellan Switch / Garmin Forerunner 210?
Is it useful for the common type of training (intervals, lactate runs, etc...)?

    Thanks for the insight Wink
