auto-save in RunForth (Read 71 times)

probably not fast enough

Eric:  I tried to use runforth to map a hike I took today, and it worked well, but there was no reception out there, and by the time I got back to civilization, the hike gpx data was lost.... I wish the app had auto-save so I could just upload to the website when connectivity is available..

    Wind is not my friend.

Just so you're aware, I don't believe that Eric had much to do with app.  See the following thread for more info.

Quite right cc4life07. I'm the creator of the app. I apologize that this is an issue, it's something that's in the pipeline to resolve. That is, you'll be able to sync a workout whenever you come back online. If you're interested in when it will be completed, you can can comment on the issue here (http://runforth.uservoice.com/forums/251050-general/suggestions/5893341-add-offline-support-to-save-activity-and-sync-late) and when it is released, you should get an emailing letting you know.

Sorry for the trouble. If you have any other feedback, feel free to supply it here:

          Question to the developer....

Is RunForth only available for iPhone or will it work on blackberry???

I currently have Runtastic on my blackberry but would be happy to switch to something that integrates with Running Ahead....

Champions are made when no one is watching

iOS only, with no plans for blackberry at this time, sorry!

Every time I hear blackberry I'm surprised it's still around. Android just overtook IOS in usage and the two of them split almost 90% of the market. If I were a developer the only way I'd work on the blackberry platform would be if I were paid up front, just as Microsoft often does for it's mobile platform.
