Junior Seau takes his own life.
...and 8 players have died from the 1994 Charger superbowl team. Before the age of 45.
And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.
Plane crash? Lightning strike? Damn, they are really cursed.

NFL.com is reporting that it was a gunshot wound to the chest. Of course this makes me think of Dave Duerson.

Si. DD is listed in the story I linked. Fooey.
This makes me sad.
Of course, Junior will alway be remembered as a GREAT CHARGER, but as a Patriots fan, having him on the team for the last few years of his career was really a delight.....
He ended up being a great Patriot too.....

Very sad.
Runners run.
mileage hound
My thought too. The growing body of evidence on concussions and brain injury is why they need to take a strong stance on the Saints injury pool issue. The number of former NFL players dying so young is very sad.
2013 goals: Kick some arse. Moreso than 2012.
