I'm having flashbacks of September 11th.  Horrible.

How can we know our limits if we don't test them?

My thoughts and prayers are with all of my friends in Boston today.  I don't know what else to say.

The footage of the finish area when the first explosion went off and they showed the race clock. 4h09mins. The race is suspended.

Police are now yelling that it's a crime scene and trying to clear the area according to the media I'm watching.

Holy fuck.  I hope none of our people are out there.

"Our" people, "other" people...I just hope no one is dead or seriously injured.

Terrible. I hope it's not as bad as it looks.

One day I decided I wanted to become a runner, so I did.

This is just awful. My thoughts are with everyone in Boston right now... terrifying stuff.

                    video of the blast: https://vine.co/v/bFdt5uwg6JZ

Reports currently say 3 dead, "dozens" injured.  Some pics show lots of bloodstains on the ground.  Eyewitness accounts include dismemberments.

Supposedly, at least one bomb was in a trash can right at the finish scaffolding.  No word on if the can was loaded with stuff to become shrapnel.  Scaffolding collapsed onto people in the crowd.

                      Holy crap.

I'm flipping channels... one report of ball bearings in one of the explosions, but that could have also been the can it was in. Terrible.

My heart goes out to all those injured.  Senseless.  4:09 clocktime in the video I saw.

Praying for the safety of all.

I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it.
