Reminder: Rain = Body Gluide!! I ran the Flying Pig in the rain in 2004 and thougth I had enough body gluide on but I chafed so bad and in areas I didn't know you would chafe.

Thanks for the reminder --- I'm running low on body glide and need to pick some up. Yeah, I gotta echo that ---- where did you chafe?

The usual spots: inner thighs and nipples But with the soaking wet rain I guess the clothes were stuck to the skin and I chafed: - where my triceps rubbed my body during the running motion - where my little roll on my stomach rubbed on my shirt (just above the waist line of my shorts) - again, I guess because the shorts were cingy because of the rain, but, ummm.... below the waist line of the shorts I think that is all.

I'll take it!!! Back to shorts and singlet weather.

race starts at 8:00, right? I'll wear a throw away shirt or two and as it gets warmer discard them. I will definitely pack a short sleeve technical shirt just in case that is what I decide, but right now it's looking like a singlet if those temps hold.
