I du! (+CX +Mtn.)

I started the Couch-to-5k program 4 years ago on the first day of Spring.  Soon after I discovered RA.  I am certain that had I not stumbled across this place on Google that I'd have lost the running mojo LONG ago.  There were other sites that had more active message boards, but no other site had such a fabulous log.  RA's community has since grown exponentially and RA still has the best log, hands-down.

Thanks, Eric.  And the rest of you knuckleheads, too!  Send Eric a donation if you haven't done so recently.  As someone who has been here since the "early" days of RA, I can attest that its money well-spent. Smile

    No offense.

"no other site had such a fabulous log."

That is, in fact, what she said.

      Ultima tastes like failure.

Heh.  I resisted the log as long as I could, but I have been assimilated.  Though it has much more functionality than I will ever need.   Kudos.

The demise of "that-place-which-should-never-be-named" became a non-event as I have made more friends which I have shared runs with IRL here than I ever did there.

2012 goals:  Fastest race times since 2006.

On May 6th, it will be 3 years since I graduated the C25K plan. Same deal here, I was toying with the idea of running and that got me doing it consistently. I ended up here at RA, like a lot of folks. Similar to the wagon trains going out west. After CR blew up, we knew there was a better place to be ,but were not quite sure what it would be like. It has exceeded all my expectations and is a MAJOR reason that I have done so well.

Thanks Zoomy. Thanks Eric. And all you peeps, don't be a stranger to that little donate button on the first page!

                              Hawt and sexy

I have run with friends from that other place and here.  Friends are friends, no matter where you find them. Although, I am still trying to figure out a way to get to run at the super not-so-secret track of yours Andy.  Hmmm....

Does this place really need to run these ad threads so often though? It seems that there is a thread popping open about once a month begging for donations. The only other site that I know of where that happens has an owner that is really bad with money.  I just don't think Eric has that problem and therefore does not need the monthly spam thread.

                                I'm touching your pants.
