I haven't seen one NO GO vote yet - and - I vote go too.
At my 20th & 25th, I discovered that many people I was had been friends with in HS were not that interesting now and many that I was NOT that friendly with in HS were a VERY interesting now.
I enjoyed the time.
I have also NOT gone to my wife's HS reunions. Actually, I went to one and wish I had missed that one too. I left early and both my wife and I were happy I did. I think your husband is making the right choice to NOT go. |

I come from Northern Ireland. We don't have high school reunions. There was a weird attempt at a 10th reunion at my Grammar School (that is a high school), but nothing since.
So, I wanted my hubby to take me to his 20th and 25th, a real southern Californian High School reunion. I mean the school's called "West Chester High" - it has to be interesting. He finally agreed to take me to the 30th.
His dad is 90 three weeks before the reunion. We can niether afford three solid weeks in LA or fly down twice in a month, once with kids once without. I guess I miss this one too - Dad wins out. Hubby isn't bothered at all, but I just want to experience one. Maybe the 40th.
So - I would vote GO! |

GO! One note on DH - was he around you in HS, and would he know anyone there? If so, he should go too. If not, let him stay home.
Had a great time at my 20th - a lot of guys who were @$$holes in HS turned out to be pretty OK at 37. Then again there were a couple who hadn't changed at all.
25th next year for me, and I'm definitely going again. |
