Weirdest thing you've ever seen on the ground during a run..?

Looking at the white line on the side of the road I often see shapes of unpainted areas, usually they are leaf shaped but sometimes they are dead frog or feather shaped.

not the weirdest per se but today these wild turkeys were swarming the street & barely moved when I ran by! They just nonchalantly glanced at me ... OK u freaky birds - I guess they saw I didn't have an axe so they weren't worried!

Ha, they cause traffic jams here. They just mill about and won't budge.

I wish I could post that last night I saw a lorry tyre when I was running but I only saw it when I rolled over after it had fetched me down so technically I wasn't running at the time I first saw it. I skinned and battered both knees and one elbow,and today feel like I've been run over by a tank. What makes it worse was that I didn't notice it because I was distracted by an ambulance going by.

Old age is when you move from illegal to prescribed drugs.

Owie, Jules...was it dark? This is one reason I don't have much interest in running after dark. I have a hard enough time staying upright when it's daylight. Blush

Today I didn't run with my phone (no pockets and I hate carrying it in my hand)...so of course I saw 2 interesting things. A pair off maroon plaid boxers and <100 yards away nearly a dozen free-range chickens pecking about in the same ditch.

Yesterday there was clothing strewn along about 100 yards of the trail - shirt, pants, socks. It's really too cold for any outdoor hanky-panky (I think), so i hope there's nothing bad to the story behind it. The stuff was gone this morning.

A few weeks ago someone ditched a couple of porn magazines on my daily route along a highway. since then they have been hit by the tractor mower spreading the pages to a bigger area. When the winter winds showed up they were blown into the fence so now there's a couple sections of fence wallpapered with porn.

How'd you do that with the text...between tape and a your post superscripts... Confused

The last time I saw audiotape was a cassette that had been unraveled all along the road. Amazing how many yards of tape are in one small plastic rectangle.
