Hi everybody. My name is Tim, I'm another person who wandered over from... what was the name of that other site again? Tongue

I've been lurking for a few weeks and have been really impressed with the quality of the discussion and acceptance of new users. (Altough, I'm in the boat that thinks that HTFU is played... sooooo played.)

Quick background: grew up swimming and playing water polo. Started climbing and backpacking about 5 years ago, then got the somewhat ambitious idea my hill and trail running could translate to a marathon. Ran SF in 06 in 4:07, and Portland in 07 in the same time (granted my training was not as good due to some shin splint pain, and my infant boy, who just started day care, kept me sick for the 6 wks preceeding the race.) My experiences in those races has me excited to run more consistent and, well, more.
