I have to ask:  Why??  What's the point of a party with nothing to celebrate?  Isn't that the whole point of a party?  

You most certainly didn't go to HS or college with any of my friends!  Celebrating was rarely never the point of any of our parties!

I might contact the RD to see if they could email me a shirt and medal as that would be the most awesome way to experience the whole 0mile race/event thing!
