old Paratrooper
This morning marks the beginning of All American week, the annual celebration on Fort Bragg of all things having to do with the 82nd Airborne Division. We began this morning with a formation four mile run. Easy run, easy pace, but the cool part was 18,000 Soldiers all running together in formation signing cadences the whole way. truely a unique and amazing experience! Once I can get some pictures I'll post 'em
Hopefully this will work
That seems to have worked, I was about in the middle of the run group meaning I have not yet entered the photo
Goal: 3 2 1more sprint tri this spring/summer and 2 Internationals in the fall--Half iron spring 2012
lace 'em up!
that sounds pretty cool. Looking forward to the pictures.!!
I'm originally from Fayetteville and remember seeing the soldiers running quite a bit. Would love to see pictures!

Two words: Accordian effect
It would have been cooler if 18,000 people jumped out of a plane.

Great picture, funnily enough the 82nd Airborne was based near my house during WW2 so they are well respected in my neck of the woods.
that would be one very large plane.
I've jumped with 1,700 at one time it took 28 aircraft lined up, we all exited within about 1/2 hour over the dropzone, it was kinda crowded in the air
