Sorry, just wanted to post this as a tribute. One of the greatest modern sportsmen retired tonight. I will miss his brilliance.

didn't think i'd see a cricketing thread out here! lara's brilliance will certainly be missed. this world cup has been a bit weird - woolmer's killing, ind-pak teams performing like minnows, i quit following matches after week one.
