>General Running>pdfs or free downloads
Anyone got any useful resources for free pdfs or ebooks about running, particularly lydiard stuff? Going away soon and could do with some free literature.
"I've been following Eddy's improvement over the last two years on this site, and it's been pretty dang solid. Sure the weekly mileage has been up and down, but over the long haul he's getting out the door and has turned himself into quite a runner. He's only now just figuring out his potential. Consistency in running is measured in years, not weeks. And over the last couple of years, Eddy's made great strides" Jeff 14 Jan 2009
Arthur Lydiard's "Athletic Training":
Edit: (Maybe that was way too obvious and you've already read it, but I saw this as a chance for me to be helpful on the forums instead of asking noob questions like I usually do!)
"If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run." -John Bingham
Go here for some downloads on training. I haven't read them all but I liked the 1500m training principles article - good stuff.
