For those who have run Comrades, can we get a race report?  It's on my "races to run soon" list.  I'm thinking 2012 (I have 1 60k, 4 marathons, 3 Half IMs and Ironman Lake Placid scheduled for 2011, so I think I'm good there).

Comrades sounds really cool though.  I want to run it. Someone told me they don't let you run the whole thing your first time?  What does that mean, and is it true?

                    HTFU?  Why not!

I think they meant that you wont run the whole way your first time (YOU WILL WALK at some stage) even winners of this race have walked in this race. Regarding the race report: just Google it (especially if you search for Bruce Fordice). You'll find thousands of stories!
