Anya, you are also in my prayers. I say save your $$ and use it on yourself and don't waste a single dollar, or moment, more than you have to to find out something you may not want to know anyway.

I agree, I wouldn't waste my money. And I don't know about in your state, but where I'm from proving that the other person is cheating has no bearing on amount of alimony or the divorce or anything.

Cheaters need to be burned at the stake.

You could do a little detective work yourself, but that might lead to more misery. I say forget about the douchebag and move on to bigger and better things Wink.

Iin the meantime, make a craiglist's add stating "looking for some man on man action, call me for a good time" and put his number as the reference.

I wish you best in mending your relationship.

My advice:
If you do separate officially, do not take in any bad seeds (especially bitterness). I would find someone you trust to confide in even if it means going to a therapist.

I have been really scared over the whole economy thing. I'm planning on seeing what I can do here, if I fail, I'll come back. My insticts are telling me to stick it out here. But, my family is also calling me. I'm torn. If I knew I could find a good job, I'd be more inclined. I just don't know!
Trying to find a place out here is crazy. I'm 40, and it looks like I;ll have to get a roommate? I'm not sure I can really handle that.

Thanks all.

I guess you're right. I dont want to turn into a hateful person. I just really want to move on. I really thought I found the one guy who was responsible and honest. But I do admit making many, many mistakes. Up until I found out he possibly was cheating, I would have done anything to save this marriage. Now, I'm just ready to move on. Getting some good therapy and hopefully one day can find a loving relationship. It won't be for while.

Perhaps you could do what you can where you're at and see how things work out while keeping an eye on the job market in Michigan nearer your family. If something comes up and things aren't working out well where you are at, you could come back this way. I am really sorry for your situation, Anya, and I will keep you in prayer as well. Wink

Thanks so much. I guess I can always go back to Michigan. I think I'll take your advice. Stick it out here, and see what happens. I'm starting to explore a roommate situation. I was totally opposed to it, but it might be worth a look. The killer, I could by a townhouse in MI for almost nothing. I hope the economy turns around soon!!!!!!!! Smile

Ditto.

I'm sorry you're in this situation at all. If you do end up returning to MI you know there are a bunch of crazy thread-jackers here who would welcome you back with open arms. Smile I hope your future is a more contented one than what you are living through right now. (((Anya)))

Save your money. You won't feel any better either way.

Also, there's a 2 and a 5 that were placed backwards on that cherry pi.

Save your money. You are likely to need it.

Go to a bar and tell a stranger if you have to.

Well if I was single..... ok, Nah, I wouldn't try to take advantage of the situation Wink
