Course Rounding (Read 565 times)

Just a dude.

It's not a big deal really, but I am finding that my runs are getting rounded off to the nearest 10th.

I discovered it this morning when I put in a run, and thought it interesting that I ran exactly 10 minutes a mile.  But when I go back to the the workout and check my facebook link, it said 10:11 per mile.

The course I ran is 2.24 miles on the courses page, but on the workout page, it was rounded to 2.20.

Here is the workout in question:

I would have never noticed if I hadn't ended up with a short run on an even number like that...

    Thanks!

    an amazing likeness

Are you sure that the rounding isn't just in the displays and lists, such as in the workouts list?   For me, the workout list / calendar weekly summary / reports, etc are (properly) rounded, but in the workout detail page -- the non-rounded, detailed values are there.

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

Has the distance as 2.24.  Just try editing the last one from 2.20 to 2.24 and see if it defaults to 2.24 when you select this course in the future.

Wow... now that you mention it... all of the recent results from that course are 2.24, except my last one.

I entered in the data exactly the same this morning as I always do.

The one thing I can think of that I did differently recently is that I ran an interval type workout last night.  So the workout previous to this one was a cool down that I didn't choose a course for. I just typed in 2 miles.

          Perhaps it "remembered" something?

I'll leave it as I really don't care that much... It's not like .04 miles is the difference between where I am now and the Olympic trials... Smile

          Just a dude.

I guess the only other thing to add is that I am using Chrome on Windows XP...

              Kelly,

On the workouts list, the distances are rounded to the nearest tenth.  So 2.24 becomes 2.2 (and not 2.20 which is not the same).  The exact distance can be viewed when you look at the individual workout.  I opted to round the distance to keep the workouts list simple.
