I can't bitch to my wife because she just broke her hand, so I'm doing it here.

Friday I was playing soccer for PT at work, and because like an idiot I wasn't wearing my cleats, my foot slipped, twisted, and I fell with my foot twisting and bending behind me. It managed to hit both muscles in my calves, quads, hammy's, and glutes as far as pulling muscles, and we're lucky enough to have a drop in physio clinic at the gym on base, so I dropped in before going to work. Physiotherapists are sadists.

Anyway, the physio was pretty sure there was no ligament damage, and thought I probably bruised cartilage. But no running this weekend. Certainly no long run, anyway. Today I can finally walk up and down stairs without looking crippled, so, that's progress, I guess. I know I was lucky, and maybe luckier I've been training pretty hard the past 4 months, but it's still frustrating.

OW! I hope you heal fast and that you didn't suffer any major damage. That sounds miserable.
