Anyone familiar with MIO? (Read 552 times)

I got an email about MIO HRM watches that don't require a chest sensor, and wondered if anyone has had any experience with them? I can't find many reviews on the 'net. Thanks!

    I've got a fever...

I've seen these before. The deal is that to take your heart rate, you have to place your index and middle fingers on two sensors on the watch. From The Gadgeteer I think this would work ok for walking, but seems impractical for running -- it would be difficult and annoying to take your reading unless you were stopped, which kind of defeats the purpose of running.

On your deathbed, you won't wish that you'd spent more time at the office.  But you will wish that you'd spent more time running.  Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.

Thanks! I wasn't able to find anywhere that said exactly how you took it. It does seem rather inconvenient! Very useful review, though.
