Cox Rhode Island Marathon Goal time: 3:40 (aka Run to Win + 1 hour...) http://rhoderaces.com/
With helpful pacing advice from JakeKnight and dnice, I can't fail! (or at least, not as spectacularly...)
[edited because for some reason(???) I referred to Run to Win as Born to Run] |

Good luck to everyone! Jason
I'll be running that race as well. Funny it was the last race I ran 5 years ago. Now it will be my first, in my second running life. 5 years ago I ran it in 53 something. So my goal is to try and beat it, which will be tough, being 5 years older and just at the beginning of my "Second Tour"
MTA just checked the 03 results are listed, I was faster than I remembered 52:48, now that will be tough to beat. |

Me Too! With my bruised and battered knees, I'm just going to be glad to make it. I know I can finish and I will have a PR because this wil be my first 10k.
I'll look for you at the finish line. You both will have finished and I'm sure I won't have any difficulty finding you in the sea of 10,000 runners.
It does sound like a great time with all the bands and the after- race party! |

Hey, where do you live? (I live in Amador County) I'm running this one too! This will be my 2nd HM, last year ran the Four Bridges Half -- so trying to beat that time of 1:54. I'll be wearing a pink & red sort of tye dyed looking sleeveless top -- easy to spot if you want to look me up. Would be kinda cool to meet someone from this forum!
Good luck to every one running all distances this weekend!!! |

I'm hoping for a sub 60 time, but I really just want to finish it (considering it's my first 10k). I'm really looking forward to it. If all goes well (and I suspect it will), I plan on doing a half at the end of the year.
Hey Heather, I will look for you there! My first 10k too! I will not be running a sub 60 minutes however. LOL! I am a very slow runner. Will you be at the spaghetti dinner tonight?

Awesome. I'm running my first full here (sitting in the hotel here in Lincoln now), my dad's running the half.
The weather does look awesome. Bit windy this morning, but I guess that's going away. |
