Some of my favorite shows:
Blind Melon, in Atlanta Not sure of the year, but I was in high school. They were from my hometown and I remember being so excited to see them at a bigger venue.
Widespread Panic, at Mississippi State, or in Jackson, tons of places Amazing shows during high school and college. They all run together.
Tim McGraw, in Charlotte I was shocked at how fun this concert was. He's sexy.
Indigo Girls, in Davidson NC I think they hated this venue, but they had to do a show at the college because a family member went there. We had a blast anyway, and it was an intimate venue. |

I think I lost part of my hearing to a J. Geils Band @ Pine Knob back in high school. Not only did we have people smoking pot on all sides of us (wewh hewhhhh) but when we all got back into the van, we couldn't hear each other... screaming even! Took till the next day to start hearing. I musta got (my hearing) lost...somewhere down the line!
Bob Seiger was awesome at the Joe Louis I think it was. Awesome, awesome.
Steve Miller concerts always at Pine Knob. Eventually got bored and stopped going to them. Used to be my fav singer. Great times there, though!!
Fog Hat at a local bar. I paid $10 for this???
Vince Gill at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Great show @ xmas time!!
Garth Brooks @ the Palace also. A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Energy bouncing off the walls at that one!!
Oh yeah- we saw Faith Hill @ the MI State Fair before she was big. It was about 90 degrees and she was having heat stroke in her black leather? pants. She was having a rough time. Not a very big crowd either that day. Good show though!
Forgot- Clint Black @ Pine Knob!
R.E.M. @ Pine Knob.
