Anybody know of a good specialty running shop in the Houston area that can do gait analysis and help somebody get the right shoes for their biomechanics?

Blaine,

A friend of mine lives in Houston and has gone to a --- I think its called "Fleet Feet" and she said they were good and did a gait analysis and have a very large variety of running selections........Google it and I think it will come up.

On the Run in Clear Lake, and Pearland are the best. Find Vera.

Or you can go to Fleet Feet if you are around Uof H. They are helpful too.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I just took on a new coaching client, who is starting with hip problems, so I figured that pointing him towards a store with good recommendations for new shoes was probably a good spot to start.

Not sure exactly where he lives, just know that it's in the Houston area.

Lukes locker in the Woodlands area is a very well founded running specific store. It allows the use of treadmills i the store and all sorts of things that scream good deal!!!!

Guys in my club said Vera helped them. There's Fleet Feet in several locations. I like Luke's Locker because they always have what I need. I use On the Run in Clear Lake often. On the Run is where you'll find Vera I think on Tuesdays.
