Good Bad & The Monkey

Being a vegetarian, I have no interest in reading Pollan's "The Omnivore's Dilemma". Smile
I'm not sure I understand. The book is, as Jeff points out, about much more than omnivorism. It is about the source of much of the food we eat, and it covers lots of things other than meat. Trent Vegetarian for 20 years.
Trent's a vegetarian, too. But Pollan's book is not about principle; it's about practice. You still might have something to learn.
Sounds interesting...maybe I'll check it out! Thanks for the head's up Smile
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves: “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world." ~ Marianne Williamson

Smile Out of curiosity, why are you a vegetarian? Pollan's book will make you think about that as well. Deeply. These were interesting threads from a while back. There is a Pollan article quoted in the middle of it: http://runningahead.com/forums/topic/84085cc4fae748458530751dcb39168c/0 http://runningahead.com/forums/post/130620af4b204403a408f5d51c31e920
Did you read any of it yet?
No,not yet! Just ordered it right before I posted that. So, it'll take 1-2 weeks to get here probably; coming from another library! Smile

Also, this is where I get my veggies: http://www.sylvanusfarm.com/content.html No need to wash. Except maybe a little dirt. Comes right off in the water Wink
