I have been watching 24 since it first came on and think it is the best tv show ever made!

I like Lost. Everytime I think I know what is coming and why, I find I don't know either. And the little things going on in the background such as the numbers, are interesting and add to the overall mystry of the entire thing.
To paraphrase an old poster: Today is the first day of the rest of your training. It doesn’t matter where you started or how far you’ve come. Today is the day.

Your training didn’t start 6 weeks ago. Your training started the last time you hit the road.

I used to watch 24...the first 2 seasons. I was truly addicted & couldn't stop, so I had to quit watching TV entirely. Now I limit myself to only one hour a week & only during the regular season (no re-runs).

My addiction now is Grey's Anatomy. Love that show, totally in love with Dr. McDreamy. I worked for a general surgeon for 8+ years, so the medical inaccuracies of tv shows are not lost on my, I just like the eye candy!! Wink And it makes me laugh.

Problem is, I watch tv so seldom that I don't know what happens. Does anyone know when the new season starts for GA? Anyone know which night, what time??

Loved 24 at first .... but after awhile there were just too many "Oh, come on!" moments. Great acting and actors, great production values ... but I can't watch it anymore without giggling. It's like they got this great show, and then never bothered to actually have someone watch the finished product before airing it. Last season we actually quit halfway through - I heard whisperin' Jack got his butt in a sling with the Chinese again?

As for this:

Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure it's Thursday nights this season. I'm guessing 9 p.m. (8 central).

my wife loves grey anatomy...I think Scrubs is way better...but I love The Office which will be on at the second half hour of GA...which may lead to a divorce or at the very least marriage counseling...(I can ask for a second TV but that could probably be trouble as well Big grin )

There were many scenes that I know are not possible. I finally decided to turn my brain off when it comes to 24 and it's a bit more enjoyable now. Jack got more than his butt in a sling. His last words before the season ended were to his new captors. He begged them to kill him. It'll be interesting how the script writers will get him out of that bind without pissing off the viewers in China.

Do they watch '24' in China? I honestly don't know.. what sort of access does the rest of the world have to our media (for better or worse)? I heard that Bay-watch is one of our biggest exports to other countries... how depressing! Tongue

I am a junkie for both 24 and Lost (talk about time consuming)! However, I'm starting to get a little disillusioned with Lost.. I love the writing and the mystery/suspense (the numbers thing is cool), but I'm starting to get the feeling that they will NEVER be able to answer even half of the questions that arise! I don't need everything squared away perfectly, but I would like to see some sort of satisfying conclusion (if/when they end the series)... If they end the show with "and then they all woke up", I think I will have a stroke!

You and me both!! Lost has answered some questions but that seems to lead to even more. A nice discussion on the show over at http://members.tripod.com/templetongate/mainpage.htm Good site. I use to go there a lot. I have even done some book and movie reviews for them.

Too bad this show didn't turn out to be any good.
It's all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack.
