My dogs are fast, not me

I have a race this afternoon - a 3K. Short, so no problem with the distance, but it's going to be fast and I'm not fast. Normally, I don't even start to feel good until about 2-2.5 miles into my runs. So, keep your fingers crossed that I don't go out too fast and completely blow it. Robin

Hope the run went well. Looking forward to hearing your report. I'm too late for today, but next time you could consider doing a mile or two easy warm up before the race. I ran three miles to the start of my last 5K and ended up with a new PR.
