| You can also use vanilla yogurt, but make sure to use less sugar than the pancake recipe calls for. |

Quote from rockenmamof5 on 1/31/2007 at 2:24 PM:I'm talking on a purely BB standpoint. I have a protein shake after everyworkout and the Isolate is going to have more "pure" protein in it then the protein blend. Now as far as every day eating I'm all into whole foods. BTW I consider the Protein shake a supplement. I'm a big fan of turkey, chicken fish (not much of a red meat fan)and all the fresh veggies and fruit one can eat in a day. Oh Asparagus is my ABSOLUTE most favorite veggie ( other than sweet potato) Oh and thanks I made them myself
<sarcasm deleted>
Tired. cranky. Rude. Sorry.
Sum: I don't believe in protein shakes, especially when egg whites, skim milk and yogurt are cheaper than the powder. I also think that athletes have gone way overboard with the protein thing. Most don't need nearly as much as they think. Perhaps I'll write a more thoughtful post on it later, when I am less tired.
Also, I did not add this end sarcasm tag. It is a "feature" of the bulletin board =></sarcasm> |
