I'm thinking about doing Long Island, but its a schlep for me. Worth it?
I can and I will!

I did Long Island and it was actually really well run. The course was kinda boring, but I enjoyed myself a lot, and I typically despise large events. I also am not always into the girl power! stuff, but I didn't even mind it.
I did a full RR on RWOL, here is a link:

I would recommend it!

+1. I ran one too, simply because it was a HM when I wanted to do a HM. Even though it was bigger then I'm used to, it was still well organized, and fun. Plus it was fun getting all girly in pink, getting the feather boa and tiara from handsome firefighters.

All young people feel boxed in, but what you do with the wiggle room that you have, will define who you become.
