Beware, batbear...
I'm excited about my first race. I'm planning on going out at a fairly fast pace and try to push it on each consecutive mile, sprint to the finish. I've been training for several months, had a couple of setbacks and am finally getting to race!
Any last minute suggestions?
2012 Goals:
1. 1100+ miles.
2. Streak starting in March or April if I'm healed.
3. 100 Push up challenge to get some upper body strength back.
4. Get weight under 180 by the end of the summer.
5. 1 or fewer alcoholic drinks 4+ nights per week every week.
6. Concentrate on 5K distance and September HM.
7. Have fun!
What does Tunis make?
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Cry havoc!
The Before and Now Pictures thread is my all-time RA favorite, the First Race Tips thread is a close second because of Jake Knight's post.
Best of luck with it, have fun!
Great minds think alike, which has absolutely nothing to do with AmoresPerros and I. AP is faster, but mine is purtier.
