Age Grade Percentage and Result (Read 496 times)

After every race, I check my age grade percentage, using one of the calculators which is available, e.g., http://www.howardgrubb.co.uk/athletics/wmalookup06.html .

For instance, my recent 2 mile race with the running club gave me a 13:20.  Since I'm 55, I plug in the numbers for this calculator, and I see that my Age-graded result is 11:12, and my Age-performance % is 70.67%.

I believe this is a table lookup, based on age and distance, to find the age grade factor.  That page itself has the javascript calculations, and the table is also available there.

My suggestion is to automatically include this as one of the attributes when Type = Race.  I think you generally have all the information.  If the user did not put in their date of birth, I guess this can't be calculated, though.
